Lifting & Rigging Inspections

If you use rigging, it must be inspected. In fact, it’s the law. American Wire Rope & Sling conducts rigging inspections in accordance to the standards set forth in OSHA1910.179 & 184, ASME B30.2-10-11-17-21&26. Our chain sling inspections are in compliance with OSHA Regulation 1910.184, which mandates that all slings be inspected annually. We have a fully trained staff of qualified rigging inspectors that will not only properly inspect your rigging, but will also educate your team along the way to help extend the life of your rigging, evaluate applications of use and keep you up to speed on the latest rules and regulations.

Sling Inspection

American Wire Rope & Sling conducts alloy chain sling inspections in compliance with1910.184(e)(3)(i), which requires that your slings be inspected annually at a minimum. Most of the time, your rigging can be repaired, and we have a full staff of rigging fabricators who will get your items repaired, tested and back in your hands lightning-fast.

InspectAll

InspectAll is an iPad-based inspection software exclusively used by American Wire Rope & Sling that has revolutionized rigging inspections. We will log your items into our database and create an inspection platform just for your company. Each item will be cataloged, and we’ll include a photo of the damage along with our recommendation of whether the item can be repaired or if it needs replaced and why. You will have an electronic copy of your inspections, and the most critical repair needs will be clearly identified with our RED, YELLOW, GREEN indicators by item. We can do your inspections in one of our many locations, or we will come to your site—and we won’t leave until your inspections are done!
